I've drafted many a blog post without finishing, so here's a condensed summary:
- Lhasa de Sela's death has filled me with a grief that I had not expected. She was a beautiful woman, and conveyed so much with her lyrics and gorgeous singing. She truly had such an ancestral voice within a young body, and her struggle with breast cancer is heart-breaking. I was so looking forward to what was developing at the peak of her career.
- This morning my brothers and I took our sled and sped down the icy hill by our house. It was lots of fun. They also snuggled with me in my bed this morning. I guess sometimes it's cool to have siblings.
- This might be due to the fact that I don't have facebook anymore, but I'm totally distanced from everything. Sometimes I forget that I have more than two friends. It gets depressing.
- Yesterday, Mr. Ross told me something that made my month. I love that man.
